UM, AND I JUST WANNA REMIND PEOPLE THAT THE FRIENDSHIP AT HOME IS ACTUALLY A SEPARATE LEASE LOCATED ON THE FIRST FLOOR OF THE BAILEY.
AND, UM, I WANTED TO JUST GIVE A QUICK LITTLE OVERVIEW ON FRIENDSHIP AT HOME.
FRIENDSHIP AT HOME IS A LLC WITH A PARENT COMPANY, A FRIENDSHIP VILLAGE OF DUBLIN.
OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE LIFE CARE UP TO SKILLED NURSING THROUGH PRIVATE DUTY IN PEOPLE'S HOMES.
WE CURRENTLY HAVE AROUND 150 MEMBERS WITH THE GOAL OF GROWING SUBSTANTIALLY IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF YEARS.

UM, THE BAILEY DOORS WILL BE LOCKED ONLY AVAILABLE TO PEOPLE WHO LIVE AT THE BAILEY.
AND THEN YOU'LL SEE THIS SINGLE DOOR ON THE INSIDE, AND THAT WOULD BE THE FRIENDSHIP AT HOME SPACE, THE LEAST SPACE.
AND THE CHALLENGE THAT WE'RE WORKING THROUGH IS REALLY KIND OF HOW TO GET PEOPLE FROM THE GARAGE INTO AN UP, KIND OF AROUND THAT, THAT PLACEMENT OF THE BUILDING.

AND THEN JUST THE, THE, THE NORTH FACADE OF THE BUILDING AND, UH, HOW THE, THE ENTRANCES ARE SET BACK FROM, FROM THE PRIVATE STREET, WHICH IS A UNIQUE CONDITION WITHIN THIS DISTRICT.
UM, BACK IN JANUARY WAS THE LAST TIME FRIENDSHIP OF HOME WAS BEFORE YOU, AS THEY WERE PART OF THE BAILEY SIGN PACKAGE.
UH, THEY PROPOSED THREE SIGNS, BUT THOSE WERE REMOVED FOLLOWING, UH, THE COMMISSION'S DISCUSSION.
UH, THE PRIMARY CONCERN WAS IN THIS NORTHWEST CORNER, UH, FOR A WALL SIGN THAT WAS PROPOSED.
UH, SO THE CONCERNS WERE, UH, NOT SEEING THE NEED FOR THAT NORTHWEST WALL SIGN, UH, THAT THREE SIGNS THAT WERE BEING PROPOSED FOR THE TENANT WAS TOO MANY AND THEN JUST DESIRING A LITTLE BIT MORE CREATIVITY WITH THOSE SIGNS.
SO IN MARCH, UH, THE BAILEY WENT FORWARD WITH THEIR FOUR SIGNS, WHICH ARE SHOWN ON THAT SITE PLAN, AND THOSE HAVE BEEN APPROVED.
UH, AND THIS IS JUST TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA AS WELL, OF THE, THE THREE OR THE FOUR SIGNS THAT ARE APPROVED, UH, THE APPLICANT IS UTILIZING THE SAME MATERIALS AND A LOT OF THE SAME DESIGNS, UH, TO BE CONSISTENT WITH THAT APPROVED SIGN PACKAGE.
SO THE PROPOSED SIGN PLAN INCLUDES TWO SIGNS.
UH, THE TWO NEW SIGNS ARE SHOWN IN GREEN, UH, THE 19 SQUARE OR 17 SQUARE FOOT GROUND SIGN, WHICH IS LABELED AS NUMBER FIVE.
AND THEN THE FOUR SQUARE FOOT WALL SIGN, WHICH IS LABELED AS NUMBER SIX.
UM, I DO WANT TO SHARE THIS AS WELL, THE LANDSCAPE PLAN, SO YOU CAN GET AN IDEA.
THIS IS THE APPROVED LANDSCAPE PLAN WITH THE FINAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN OF THE BAILEY.
UM, THE RED CIRCLE SHOWS THE GENERAL LOCATION OF THIS SIGN, BUT AGAIN, THIS IS SOMETHING THAT WE HAVE CONDITIONED WITH THIS APPLICATION TO MODIFY THAT LANDSCAPE PLAN.
IF THAT MONUMENT SIGN IS APPROVED, WE WANNA MAKE SURE THAT IT'S VISIBLE AND NOT, UH, BEING SURROUNDED WITH VEGETATION THAT IS GONNA SCREEN THAT, UM, A MAJORITY OF THAT SIGN IS BEING USED.
SO THAT IS THE CONDITION WE HAVE AND WE'LL CONTINUE TO WORK WITH THEM ON THAT.
SO THE GROUND SIGN IS 17 SQUARE FEET IN SIZE AND LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF MOONEY AND WINDER.
AGAIN, THIS IS SOMETHING THAT WE'VE WORKED ON WITH THE APPLICANT FOR SEVERAL MONTHS NOW.
UH, TRYING TO IDENTIFY AND, AND MEET THE NEEDS THAT THEY HAVE, BUT ALSO UNDERSTANDING THAT THIS IS A LITTLE MORE OF A UNIQUE SITUATION THAT WE HAVE.
UH, AS THIS BUILDING AGAIN, IS, IS FRONT THE MAIN ENTRANCE IS FRONTING ON A PRIVATE DRIVE OF WIND.
UH, AND THERE'S NO OTHER ENTRANCE FOR THIS SPACE ON THIS LARGE BUILDING.
SO THE, THE CHALLENGE IS TRYING TO IDENTIFY HOW DO WE GET PEOPLE, UH, FROM THIS BUILDING, OR SORRY, FROM THE PARKING GARAGE TO THE BUILDING AND, AND EASILY IDENTIFY.
SO, UM, THE APPLICANT WORKED WITH US TO COME TO, UH, THIS TYPE OF SIGN TYPE, WHICH IS, AGAIN, 17 SQUARE FOOT.
AND IT DOES MIMIC AND REPLICATE A LOT OF WHAT WAS APPROVED WITH THE OTHER MONUMENT SIGN IN THE NORTHEAST CORNER.
AND THEN THE APPLICANT SWITCHED FROM THE PROJECTING SIGN TO THIS, UH, WALL-MOUNTED SIGN.
UH, THIS, THE PROJECTING SIGN STAFF HAD CHALLENGES WITH JUST BECAUSE TYPICALLY WE SEE THOSE OUT ALONG THE STREET, UM, THEY'RE A LITTLE BIT MEANT THEY'RE MEANT MORE FOR ENGAGEMENT WITH THE SIDEWALK.
AND THAT REALLY JUST WASN'T, UH, MEETING THE INTENT, UH, JUST GIVEN THE LOCATION OF WHERE THAT SIGN WAS.
SO, UH, THE APPLICANT IS COMING FORWARD WITH THAT FOUR SQUARE FOOT WALL SIGN AS SHOWN.
UM, THERE WAS A, A BIT OF AN ERROR IN THE REPORT.
I DID MENTION THAT IT WAS ABOUT 14 FEET FORWARD OF THE, UH, THE ENTRANCE, UM, THAT WAS INCORRECT.
THEY'RE PUTTING THAT IT WOULD BE TO THE LEFT OF THE DOOR ON YOUR SCREEN OR AS YOU'RE WALKING OUT OF IT TO THE RIGHT.

BESIDES A SMALL MONUMENT SIGN THAT I DON'T THINK IN THAT LOCATION EVEN REALLY NECESSARILY HELPS UNDERSTAND THAT YOU GOTTA GO AROUND THE CORNER AND FIND THIS ENTRY DOOR.
I GUESS I'D RATHER SEE YOU PUT MORE EFFORT INTO THE ENTRY DOOR, HONESTLY LOOKS LIKE IT'S A, A SIDE DOOR OR WHAT IS A SIDE DOOR, BUT LIKE A BACK DOOR OR SOMETHING.
SO MAYBE A CANOPY, SOMETHING MORE THERE TO IDENTIFY THAT AS A SIGNIFICANT POINT OF ENTRANCE AS OPPOSED TO A, A MONUMENT SIGN THAT I, I JUST, AGAIN, DON'T THINK IT ACHIEVES THE, THE PURPOSE.
